Royal Albert Hall shows win Showcase of the Year Award
An expectant 650 guests flocked to the Roundhouse in Camden on 24th September to celebrate the great and the good of the event industry, at the much-anticipated Event Awards, regarded as the industry's leading awards ceremony.
Teenage Cancer Trust were thrilled to win The Show Case Award in association with the Royal Albert Hall for this year’s 10th anniversary concert series back in March. This is the only category in the Event Awards that is not voted for by the judges and instead voted for by the readers of Event magazine and eventmagazine.co.uk.
Entries into this award are events that have been featured as a double page spread in Event magazine from June 2009 until May 2010. Teenage Cancer Trust’s annual concert series featured on the cover of Event magazine in April 2010. The category was only launched in 2009 and Teenage Cancer Trust is only the second recipient of this award.
Our 2011’s shows at the Royal Albert Hall will not disappoint so keep your eyes peeled and ears open for more news coming soon!
