I am running the 13 mile Great North Run to support Teenage Cancer Trust and their efforts to help teenagers and young people battling and recovering from cancer. A close friends experience battling with cancer has opened my eyes to the things charities like this do for young people.

Description

I am running the Great North Run half marathon to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust after discussing with a friend (Anothony Cox) that we feel we need to do something for the charity after seeing friends battles with cancer.

The facilities and treatment teens and young people get is brilliant but i feel that i need to help out and make it the best bar none in this country. Hopefully our fundraising will benefit alot of people and also the on going research into cancer. All donations are welcomed and appreciated no matter how big or small, And if you do donate, then please select the 'gift aid' option as this will allow Teenage Cancer Trust to claim an extra 25% for every donation!

Thanks for your support.
