Dune

The Dune Group - supporting Teenage Cancer Trust

The partnership between The Dune Group and Teenage Cancer Trust began with the launch of a Teenage Cancer Trust 'Bag for Life' in November 2007 and was modelled by Natasha Bedingfield, raising over £15,000 through the sale of the bags nationwide.

In May 2009, Dune launched a shimmering necklace for Teenage Cancer Trust, modelled by pop sensation and star of 'Strictly Come Dancing' Alesha Dixon. The necklace sold out in a short amount of time on both their websites and in store. With £12.50 from the sale of each £20 necklace coming to Teenage Cancer Trust it raised £12,500.

Following on from the sucess of the Alesha necklace, in October 2009 they launched another necklace with profits coming directly to Teenage Cancer Trust. The necklace was modelled by another star of 'Strictly Come Dancing' Rachel Stevens and this raised over £12,000 for the charity.

In November 2010 Dune moved away from using a 'celebrity' face and this time used one of Teenage Cancer Trust's ex-patients as a model. See below for more details about Lucie and the Dune Rock and Roll Ring.
